Little Altcar Parish

Little Altcar is a village and civil parish in the Metropolitan Borough of Sefton on Merseyside, on the West Lancashire Coastal Plain of England. The village has been absorbed into Formby over time. It has a population of 910 according to the 2011 Census.

For elections to Sefton Council the village and Civil parish of Little Altcar is part of Ravenmeols electoral ward which has three Ward Councillors. For elections to Parliament the area is part of the constituency of Sefton Central.

Little Altcar Parish Council is the oldest parish council in Sefton, being established in the mid-19th Century. There are seven Parish Councillors who meet four times per year in the meeting room at Formby Library.
